Halloween Party Ideas from Taylor Rental in Orland Park

Halloween is just a few weeks away, and Taylor Rental has all you need to make your Halloween a spooktacular success. From party tents to paper cups, from fog machines and cotton candy machines, we can help you make your party the best on the block!

Halloween is made for parties. There’s already a color scheme and a dress code – all you have to do is add the details. Here are a few tips to making your Halloween party one the kids (and grownups) will be talking about until next year.

Make a plan and write down your Halloween Party to-do list.

Plan your Halloween party early and make a written list. Reserve your rental items from Taylor Rental in Orland Park as soon as possible, so we can ensure your items are ready for you when you need them.

Set the Halloween scene.

Halloween is all about the spooky, and at Taylor Rental our fog machines are perfect for setting the scene. Place one by your front door to welcome your guests and start the party right. Place a second one by an outdoor tent and serve your beverages or food with just the right amount of ghostly ambiance.

Place orange or specialty lights around the interior edge of your outdoor party tent and it will have a ghoulish glow from within.

No Halloween party is complete without a good playlist! For even more effect, rent an outdoor sound system and carry the music to all corners of your party.

Halloween party with children having fun in fancy costumes

Make your Halloween party easy on yourself.

You have enough to do with decorations, festive food and the planning! You don’t have to figure out where to put all the food or where your guests will sit- we’ve got that covered. Rent folding chairs to ensure all your guests have a place to perch. Taylor Rental has buffet tables, chafing dishes, glassware and dishes to make your life easier at your big party. Decorative Halloween tablecloths or plastic table coverings are also available.

Rent a popcorn machine so guests can serve themselves. Everyone loves the charm of an old fashioned popcorn machine and eating popcorn in the little bags (which of course you’ve put Halloween stickers on to make especially festive!). Visit the Dollar store for Halloween stickers and bags.

Several days before the party, rent one of our cotton candy machines and make your own party favors.  Put the cotton candy in a plastic bag and close it with colored ribbon. Attach a fake spider (or two) and display the bags in a bowl by your front door for guests to take home.

Having a Halloween party with adults and kids?

At certain stages of our life, it’s almost impossible to have an adult only party. Make a combined party fun for both kids AND adults by keeping the children entertained with a bounce house. But be careful, the grownups might want to take it over!

An outdoor projector or TV and your favorite Halloween movies are a surefire way to keep the little ones entertained while the parents are socializing. Set up the TV in your backyard, provide blankets for the kids and rental chairs for the adults, and you’ll keep the younger folks happy long past their bedtime. (Is there bedtime on Halloween? Nah!)

No matter how big or small your Halloween party, the staff at Taylor Rental can help you plan for your every need. Give us a call at 708.429.4424 and we’ll help you get ready for a ghoulishly good Halloween!
